Aligned with Economic Vision 2030 and the Government Plan 2023-2026, the Ministry of Oil and Environment aims to enhance its digital services, improving public service and supporting global digital maturity with the Digital Transformation Plan

Emerging technologies like AI, cloud computing, and blockchain are revolutionizing processes and markets. These innovations create data-centric ecosystems that operate hyper-automatically. AI not only accelerates but transforms processes, while the cloud has become a central hub for integrating decisions, data, and technologies.


Digital Transformation Approach  for the Ministry of Oil in Bahrain (Aligned with IGA Digital First Policy)

1. Vision and Objectives

Vision: To become a fully digital government entity, data-driven, and innovative that delivers efficient, transparent, and sustainable services in alignment with Bahrain's IGA Digital First Policy.

  2. Strengthen Digital Infrastructure: Develop and maintain robust digital infrastructure to support the Ministry's operations and services.

  4. Ensure Cybersecurity: Implement strong cybersecurity measures to protect digital assets and data.
