Service Description

​The Ministry of Oil and Environment provides this e-service to owners of operating and licensed fuel stations in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This service aims to facilitate the process of submitting applications for the Redevelopment of existing fuel stations, ensuring their compliance with approved specifications and standards.​


Scope of Service

​This service includes the review and approval of applications for the demolition and reconstruction of operating fuel stations. ​



procedures

Owners of existing stations can submit the application by entering the required data in the service form.​



Required Documents

  • Letter from the station Owner stating the details of the application (Redevelopment of Operating Fuel Station).
  • Copy of the authorization letter if the applicant is authorized by the owner.
  • A Copy of the detailed engineering drawings related to the redevelopment application.
  • Bapco Refining Sales and Supply Department approval letter for the detailed Engineering drawing related to the application.
  • Copy of the land title deed document of the station or lease agreement specifying the purpose of the lease (Construction and operation of a fuel station).
  • Valid land survey certificate.


Terms and Conditions(Updateable)

  • ​This service precedes the submission of applications to the Building Permit System (Benayat).
  • All information provided in the application must be accurate and complete.
  • All required documents must be valid.
  • Engineering drawings must comply with the approved technical specifications and standards.


Service Duration

10 working days from the date of receipt of the complete application with all required documents.


Service fees

No fees are required for this service.
